For sure, despite all the reassurance, it can sometimes feel like you're doing something wrong by deviating, by coming into your own a bit later.
I honestly was a little judgmental about that as well, way back when I was around 18. I think that's why it affected me so much when I found out I was going to take a bit longer to graduate — I thought it was the end of the world! So experiencing that sort of forced me to understand how it really isn't a big deal...
